The Lippisch P.15 was a development of the Me 163 "Komet". The
nose of the aircraft was taken from the He 162 and the landing gear from
the Bf 109. The wings came from the Me 163, with their span being increased
by the addition of air intakes in the leading edge wing roots. A single
He S 011A turbojet supplied the power. Armament consisted of two Mk 108
30mm cannon in the forward fuselage sides and two MG 151/20 20mm cannon
in the wing.
